Fincken competed in track &?field at ESU, winning a conference championship in the discus as a senior. He has become one of the top officials in the nation. He has been an NFL?official since 1984 and worked Super Bowls XXX, XXXII and XXXV. He also worked college basketball and officiated at the 1986 NCAA?Division I Final Four to become one of only two people to officiate in the Final Four and the Super Bowl. He was the recipient of the 2005 Art McNally Service Award from the NFL, that recognizes service, leadership, dedication and professionalism.
