Nikki (Runnebaum) Honeyman was a dual sport star for the Hornets. She was a four-time All-MIAA performer in volleyball that was the Freshman of the Year in 1996 and earned first-team honors in 1997. Following a medical redshirt in 1998 she earned second-team All-MIAA honors in 1999. She graduated as the ESU career record holder in kills with 1,579 and was second in digs with 1,702. In track and field she earned All-American honors in the 100m hurdles as a senior and captured the MIAA championship in the outdoor long jump as a freshman. She is still the ESU record holder in the 60m hurdles indoors and 100m hurdles outdoors.
