The Marching Hornets set the soundtrack for Hornet Nation at Welch Stadium, and the Hornet Revue keeps the excitement rolling inside White Auditorium during basketball season. Corky the Hornet
Corky is the heart of Hornet Nation—our official mascot and the ultimate symbol of Emporia State pride. From the sidelines to community events, Corky brings energy, excitement, and plenty of stingers-up spirit everywhere he goes.

ESU Cheer
