Hall of Fame
Harold Clark was a three-year letterwinner in football for the Hornets in 1937, 1938 and 1939. He earned All-CIC honors at split end in 1939 and also played at defensive end during his career. He is the fifth all-conference performer from the 1939 team to earn induction into the Hall of Honor. A native of Strong City, Clark later distinguished himself as a coach and school administrator. He served as superintendent of schools in Concordia where they named the football stadium in his honor in 1988. He also served as superintendent of schools in Peabody and Hiawatha. He was a member of several state and national committees which utilized his strong administrative abilities.
