The Whitewater, Kan. native was the Central States Intercollegiate Conference (CSIC) Most Valuable Player in 1989. He was named First-Team All-CSIC after scoring 805 points with 317 rebounds as a senior. His point total was the third highest and his rebound total was the second highest in ESU history. He graduated as the eighth leading scorer in ESU history and is still ranked 15th with 1,212 points at this time. At the time of induction he holds the fourth best single season field goal percentage mark at ESU
