Sauder is a fixture at Hornet sporting events and has made a tremendous impact on Emporia State Athletics and the university as a whole. Athletic and educational opportunities have been provided to countless student-athletes due to his support. His generosity has led to several buildings on campus named for him including the Earl Sauder Family President’s Box at Welch Stadium, the Earl Center and the Sauder Alumni Center. He is one of only two living, individual members of the ESU?Leadership Society for contributions of over $1 million to ESU in a lifetime.
