Jennings competed in track and cross country from 1985-89.  He was a six-time All-American winning national outdoor championships in the 1,500 meters in 1988 and in the indoor mile in 1989.  He also placed second in the indoor mile in 1987 and 1988.    He won six conference and district titles at 800 and 1,500.  Jennings was a three-time national qualifier in cross country and was the CSIC?champion in 1987. He still maintains school records in the mile and two-mile relay.  Following his career at ESU, he was a finalist at the USA?Track and Field Championships and was ranked 21st nationally in the mile and 29th in the 1,500 meters.  He currently operates Flash Results, a company which times major meets throughout the nation including the NCAA Track and Field Championships.
