The Lady Hornets finished 28-4 on the season and capped a run of three straight trips to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight. Hall of Honor member Tara Holloway was the Player of the Year in the MIAA and named NCAA Division II National Player of the Year as she averaged 21.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Fellow Hall of Honor member Emily Bloss added 16.1 points per game while Tawanda Barnes made a then school record 81 three pointers.
