McCallop was a Division II?Bulletin All-American as a senior and a first-team All-MIAA?performer. The Kansas City, Kan. native is the second leading scorer in Emporia State?history with 1,977 points and the career leader in steals (241) and free throws made (439).  He averaged 23.1 points per game as a senior to rank sixth all-time at ESU. The Hornets were 70-48 in his four years with two appearances in the NAIA?National Tournament.
