February 19, 2026-For the third straight meet
Stella Agbokpah set a school record to highlight Emporia State's day at the Northwest Tune Up in Maryville, Mo. on Thursday. She had three of the Hornets five provisional qualifiers on the day.

Agbokpah became the first Hornet to run under 24 seconds in the 200m as she won the event in a time of 23.88 to break her previous mark of 24.06 set two weeks ago at the Bearcat Invite. It is a provisional qualifier that ranks fourth in the nation as of Thursday afternoon. She also had provisional marks in both the prelims and finals of the 60m. She ran 7.60 in the prelims and finished second with a time of 7.61 in the finals.

Barbara Bentum finished third in the women's 200m and her time of 24.82 ranks third on the Emporia State all-time list.

The Hornet men picked up a pair of provisional qualifiers in the 400m. Emannuel Dukpe ran 47.89 to finish second while
Braden Lipgens turned in a personal best 48.18 to place third.Â

The postseason portion of the indoor schedule begins on February 27 when Emporia State travels to Pittsburg for the MIAA Indoor Championships at the Plaster Center on the campus of Pittsburg State.
