February 13, 2026-Emporia State had three provisional qualifiers and
Stella Agbokpah continued her assault on the Hornet record book on Friday at the Russ Jewett Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kan.

Agbokpah broke her second school record in two weeks, this time in the 60m. She ran 7.57 to better Latiyera Yeargin's mark of 7.61 set at the 2018 Herm Wilson Invitational. It is a provisional qualifier and sends her to Saturday's finals with the second best time in the event. She also won the 200m with a provisional qualifying time of 24.15, the second best time in ESU history behind her own mark of 24.06 set last week.

Ezekiel Seamster had a provisional qualifying time of 6.79 in the men's 60m to advance to Saturday's finals with the fifth best time.

Shane Karajanis was fifth after clearing 4.45m (14-07) in the men's pole vault.

Israel Domeh was sixth in the men's 200m in a time of 21.65 while Seamster was right behind him with a time of 21.66 to place seventh.

The Gorilla Classic will continue on Saturday starting at 12 noon at the Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kan.
