Ella Favot earned MIAA Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors after her performances in Emporia State's road wins over Newman and Central Oklahoma.
Ella Favot scored three goals over the weekend as the Hornets ran their winning streak to three matches with a pair of MIAA road wins. She scored two goals in the Hornets 3-1 win at Newman on Friday. She opened the scoring just over 21 minutes into the match. After the Jets tied the score early in the second half, Favot delivered the game winner with less than ten minutes remaining. She iced the win at Central Oklahoma when she blasted a shot past the Broncho keeper in the 83rd minute of the Hornets 2-0 win in Edmond.
Emporia State will be back in action on Sunday, October 5 as they host Fort Hays State. Kickoff from the ESU Pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
