April 20, 2026-There have been several changes to the Emporia State Athletics schedule for this week.

The Emporia State softball double header at Central Missouri that was originally scheduled for Sunday, April 12 and rescheduled for Wednesday, April 22 has been moved again. The MIAA double header will now be played on Tuesday, April 28 at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg, Mo.

Due to the forecast of showers during the day on Saturday, April 25 the Hornet Invite track & field meet at Welch Stadium has been canceled and will not be made up.  Emporia State will now be headed to Hays, Kan. on Thursday, April 23 to take part in the Alex Francis Classic at the Bickle-Schmidt Sports Complex in Hays.
