April 19, 2026-Emporia State track and field sent a small group of pole vaulters to the rescheduled Pitt State Tune Up on Sunday in Pittsburg, Kan.

Mia Manley finished 13^th in the women's vault by clearing 3.53m (11-07) while both Shane Karajanis and Aaron Quillen each got over 4.33m (14-02.00) to tie for ninth in the men's pole vault.

The Emporia State track and field team will play host to the Hornet Invite on Saturday, April 25. It is the final schedule home action for the Hornets before Emporia State plays host to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on May 21-23 at Welch Stadium and Witten Track.
