May 28, 2026-The United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association has released their All-American lists for the outdoor season and Emporia State had ten athletes earn the honor. Seven Hornet men and three Emporia State women were named either first- or second-team All-American by the USTFCCCA.
First Team All-America status is awarded to finishers 1-8 (individual events and relays) in each event at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at Welch Stadium and the Zola Witten Track.
All finalists in an eight-person final automatically earn First Team All-America status, regardless of place and participation in the final round of the event in question. Second Team All-America status is awarded to finishers 9-16 in individual events and 9-12 in relays in each event at the Championships.
Preliminary round placings are used for classification for events in which fewer than 12 participate in the final round. Athletes and relays must have a valid mark in at least one round to earn All-American status.
Three Hornets earned First-Team All-American honors from the USTFCCCA.
Stella Agbokpah finished fourth with a time of 23.62 in the women's 200m.

Brooks Lowe finished seventh with a throw of 69.01m (226-5) in the men's javelin.
