August 7, 2025-Emporia State had 14 student-athletes receive Easton/NFCA Division II All-America Scholar-Athlete honors, while the team was recognized with a Team GPA award as presented by the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA). Emporia State was one of four MIAA softball programs recognized for their academic excellence by the NFCA while individuals from six association schools were recognized as well.

Emporia State had a 3.640 team GPA to rank third in the MIAA and 32nd nationally in the Easton/NFCA Team GPA standings. A total of 14 individual Hornets were recognized for maintaining at least a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2024-25.

The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. There were 2,179 individual honorees and 119 teams recognized in NCAA Division II.Â
