May 24, 2025-Emporia State student-athletes earn ed six First-Team All-American honors on the final day of the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the CSUP ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colo.

Ty Anderson ran 10.14 to finish seventh in the 100m. It was a blazing fast final with the top three finishers running under 10 seconds. It is the first First-Team All-American finish in the 100m for the Hornets since Josh Schuler placed second in 2011.

Emmanuel Dukpe earned two All-American honors. He placed eighth with a time of 46.86 in the open 400m and then anchored the 4x400m relay to an eight place finish.  It is the first First-Team All-American in the 400m for Emporia State since Luke Stenzel finished seventh in 2019.  Dukpe joined
Bryson Turner,
Israel Domeh and
Braden Lipgens to run 3:08.73 in the final event of the day. It is the first All-American finish by a Hornet 4x400m relay since the team of Brandon Rhone, Hayden Goodpaster, Parker Evans and Luke Stenzel placed sixth in 2019.

Kole Manley and
Brooks Lowe both finished in the top 17 in the nation. Manley threw 63.63m (208-9) to place 16
th while Lowe was 17
th at 63.27m (207-7) on a windy day in Pueblo.

As a team Emporia State placed 45
th out of 98 teams represented in Pueblo and nearly 300 Division II track and field programs nationwide.
