January 26, 2024-Emporia State had three third place finishes on Friday at the Wilson Invitational.
 
Mia Manley cleared 3.50m (11-5.75) to finish third in the women's pole vault. She is now ranked tenth in the MIAA in the event.
 
Madison Vermetten finished third with a throw of 15.03m (49-4) in the women's weight throw.
 
John Tetuan went 16.07m (52-9) to place third in the men's weight throw.
 
The remainder of the meet will take place on Saturday at Wichita State's Heskett Center.
