DON'T MESS WITH MOTHER NATURE
Emporia State will play host to an abbreviated 5-State Classic this weekend at the Trusler Sports Complex. The Hornets are scheduled to play six games against five opponents over four days.
THE COACHES
April Huddleston-Rosales is 118-121 in her fifth year as the head coach at Emporia State. She served as an assistant for seven seasons. She was a member of both the Hornets national runner-up teams in 2006 and 2008. This is her first meeting with Maryville, she is 2-5 against UMD, 1-2 against USF, 1-5 against MSU and 3-0 against WSC.
Courtney Conley is 36-24 in her second year at Maryville. This is her first meeting with Emporia State.
Jen Walter is 149-79 in her fifth year at UMD and 596-312 in her 21st season as a head coach. She is 5-2 against ESU.
Shannon Pivovar is 26-32 in her second year at USF. This is her first meeting with Emporia State as a head coach after a playing career at MIAA foe Missouri Western.
Lori Meyer is 1,234-688-3 in her 36th year as head coach at Minnesota State. She is 9-13 against Emporia State
