Three batters in to the matinee Stephanie Goodwin hit a three run home run to get the Hornets started. Andrea Piezuch made it 6-0 with a bases loaded double in the second and came home on Tricia Vogel's two run single for an 8-0 lead.  Cacy Williams drove in Vogel with a sac fly to wrap up the scoring.
