Box Score November 1, 2013 - Northeastern University got two goals less than four minutes apart to open the second half to defeat Emporia State 2-0.

Lindsey Lotta and Eliazbeth Cudjoe scored the two goals for the RiverHawks against goal keeper Yadira Rivera.  The RiverHawks outshot the Hornets 22-12and  put two more shots on goal. 

The Hornet loss paired with wins by Central Oklahoma and Missori Southern leave the Hornets playing for their postseason lives in Sunday's regular season finale againsht the UCO Bronchos. 

Emporia State has 14 points which is seventh in the MIAA placing them one point ahead of Central Oklahoma and two points ahead of Missouri Southern.

The Hornets and Bronchos will play Sunday at 1:00 in Edmond, Okla. while Missouri Southern hosts Northwest Missouri at 1:00 in Joplin, Mo.
