Schmitz makes six saves for the Hornets

September 22, 2012- Nikki Schmitz made six saves in a losing effort as the Emporia State soccer team fell to Central Missouri in Warrensburg 2-0. The Hornets are now 3-4-1 on the season, the Jennies improve to 6-0-2.

Jordan Foutch, Mallory Walden, Tommi Bouknight, and Nichole Marean had shots for the Hornets, with two shots in each half.

The Jennies took the lead at half time with a 37th minute goal by Carly Stanley. Alex Robbers doubled Central Missouri's advantage with a goal six minutes into the second half.

Emporia State continues MIAA play with a road game at Nebraska- Kearney on Friday, scheduled to kickoff at 1 p.m.
