<span style="font-size: medium"><span style="font-family: Arial">October 13, 2011 -- Southwest Baptist got 12 shots on goal to the Hornets six, but ESU found the net three times in a 3-0 win on the road. ESU has outscored Southwest Baptist 5-1 over the last two seasons on the road in Bolivar. </span></span> <p><span style="font-size: medium"><span style="font-family: Arial">Jordan Foutch helped the Hornets strike early as headed a pass from Catie Hyde to give ESU the 1-0 lead in the 3rd minute. ESU struck again before the game made it to the ten minute point as Hyde took a pass from Sarah Anderson at the 9:59 mark to give ESU the 2-0 advantage. ESU found the back of the net again as Sarah Anderson hit an unassisted shot from the left side to give ESU the 3-0 lead in the 15th minute. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium"><span style="font-family: Arial">For Hyde it was her third goal of the season and first assist while Anderson picked up her first goal and third assist of the year. Jordan Foutch scored her second career goal for ESU. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium"><span style="font-family: Arial">In goal Nikki Schmitz picked up her fourth shutout of the season as she picked up 12 saves in the match. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium"><span style="font-family: Arial">ESU will return home on Oct. 16 when they face Truman for a scheduled 12 noon kickoff from ESU Pitch. <br /> <br /> Notes:<br /> The last time ESU scored three goals in a game was in a 3-3 tie at Northwest Missouri on Oct. 21, 2010<br /> The last time ESU won a match 3-0 was against Avila on Sept. 20, 2006 <br /> It is ESU's largest margin of victory over an MIAA school since defeating Missouri-Rolla 5-0 on Oct. 15, 2004 <br /> </span></span></p> <p style="text-align: center"><span style="font-size: medium"><span style="font-family: Arial">###HORNETS###</span></span></p>
