April 18, 2025-Emporia State qualified four individual spots and two relays for Saturday's finals and had three NCAA Provisional Qualifiers to highlight Friday action at the KU Relays.

Abigael Reid Harelson turned in her best time of the year in the 400m hurdles. She ran 1:00.44 to hit the NCAA provisional mark and to qualify for Saturday's finals with the fourth best time.

Mia Manley cleared an NCAA provisional qualifying bar of 3. 84m (12-7.25) to finish seventh in the women's unseeded pole vault.

The women's 4x100m relay team of
Josie Orear,
Jayda Harris,
Hailey Anderson, and
Barbara Bentum ran 49.98 to qualify for Saturday's finals.

Israel Domeh will be running in two individual finals for the Hornet men on Saturday. He had the second fastest time in the 200m with a 21.52 and then ran 47.86 for the eighth best prelim time in the 400m.

Domeh will be joined in the 400m by
Emmanuel Dukpe who had a provisional time of 47.54 to qualify for Saturdays final with the fourth best time.

Kingsley Bennett,
Alden Mollerus,
Isaac Tarango and
Ty Anderson ran 40.94 to qualify for the finals in the 4x100m relay in the fifth spot.

The KU Relays are scheduled to conclude on Saturday with the first collegiate event set for 12:20 p.m. at Rock Chalk Park.
