December 13, 2024-Emporia State sent six athletes to the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invite & Multi in Colorado Springs, Colo. this weekend.
 
On Friday freshman Isabella Davie finished fifth in the women's pentathlon with 3,129 points.  She was the second Division II finisher in the field of 23 competitors to start the five event competition.
 
Isabeel Vikoler was seventh overall with 2,966 points while Scarlett Begley placed 11^th with 2,871 points.
 
After day one of the men's heptathlon Jonah Remsberg is in seventh overall out of 19 competitors with 2,951 points. Luke Grace is one spot behind him in eighth with 2,937 points while Coby Smith is in 16^th place with 2,494 points.
 
Competition for the men will wrap up on Saturday with the final three events of the heptathlon
