Emporia State opens up MIAA play with a three game set at Missouri Southern.
LAST AT BAT
Emporia State scored three runs in the final two innings to post an 8-6 win at Colorado State-Pueblo and salvage a split of the four game series.
Quinn Cherry was two for five with three RBI and a run scored while
Brady Michel went two for three with three RBI. Chandler Bloomer was three for ffour with two runs and an RBI. Zach Ebert allowed two runs on three hits in 4.1 innings with four strike outs and four walks in his first start for the Hornets.
Alex DeBey threw 2.1 innings of one hit relief to improve to 1-1 on the season.

Emporia State spotted Missouri Southern the first five runs of the game before scoring the next ten runs in a 10-6 victory at the Trusler Sports Complex to complete a three game sweep of the Lions.
