ON THIS DAY IN HORNETS HISTORY: OCTOBER 27

October 27, 2020 - With the suspension of fall sports, let's relive some ESU Highlights from past seasons.  Today's On This Day in Hornets History is presented by Gerald Schumann Electric, Inc.  In 2018, Hornet Football defeated Washburn in the Turnpike Tussle with a 34-31 OT win in Topeka.  Justin Brown blocked a potential game winning field goal attempt on the last play of regulation and then scored the game winning touchdown in overtime to give the Hornets the victory in the 115th edition of the Turnpike Tussle.
