NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Hornet men were ranked #40 and the women #54 in the USTFCCCA Division II Preseason Indoor Track & Field National Team Rankings. The USTFCCCA system ranks all teams with athletes on the Track & Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS). National Team Computer Rankings will be complied by mathematical formulae based on national descending order lists and data taken from previous seasons. For the preseason ranking  data was taken from previous seasons as well as the current season.

HOW TOUGH IS IT?
Six MIAA men's teams are ranked in the USTFCCCA National Top 25, while the women have three teams in the top 25 nationally. Nine men's teams from the conference are ranked in the top 60 with nine women's teams in the top 75 nationally.  There are a total of 86 men's teams receiving points and 106 women's teams in the computer rankings.

PROVISIONALLED
Five Hornets have already provisionally qualified for the national meet in six events.  Nikki Wetstein has three provisional marks all of which rank in the top ten nationally.
