January 17, 2013-The Emporia State track and field teams will head to Central Missouri to take part in the UCM Invite on Friday.  The Hornets will compete against Central Missouri, Pittsburg State and Southwest Baptist in the scored quadrangular meet.

Emporia State has 14 provisional or automatic qualifiers so far this season.  Andrew Etheridge in the 60m hurdles and Briar Ploude in the high jump lead the nation in their events.

Field events are set to begin at 3:00 p.m. with the running events starting at 6:30 p.m. at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
