May 29, 2026 - The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II All-America teams were released and both
Colby Deaver and
Logan Myers were honored with All-American honors. Deaver notched his third First Team selection of the season while
Logan Myers was named to the Second Team.
Colby Deaver was named a First Team All-American at starting pitcher, marking his third First Team All-Americans selection. The sophomore from Blue Springs, Missouri ranked top five in the nation in six different pitching categories, including first in WHIP (0.82) and ERA (1.50) and second in strikeout-to-walk ratio (8.50) and third in walks per nine innings. (1.13). In his last outing of the season, Deaver struck out 16 in a complete game performance against Missouri Southern in the MIAA Tournament. His 16 strikeouts set a career-high and also matched the most in a single-game in Division II this season. He posted ten quality starts, eight outings with eight or more strikeouts and six with no walks allowed. Deaver's 102 strikeouts and 1.50 ERA in the 2026 season are both ninth-best marks in a single season in program history. Deaver was also named the National Pitcher of the Year by both the NCBWA and D2CCA. along with three Region Pitcher of the Year selections by all three organizations.
Logan Myers was named a Second Team All-American at Second Base. Myers posted a .408 batting average, while tallying 21 doubles, 39 RBI, 70 runs and a .548 OBP from the leadoff spot this season. In addition to his ability at the plate, Myers excelled in the field with a 1.000 fielding percentage while being involved in 36 double plays. During the 2026 season, Myers moved into the top ten in program history in several career categories, including hits (195, 6th), runs scored (161, 5th), doubles (42, 6th), and walks (106, 5th). Myers earned his second All-American nod, after receiving Third Team honors from the D2CCA earlier this week. He also earned a First Team All-Region selection by the D2CCA, ABCA and NCBWA, while also being a unanimous First Team selection in the MIAA.
The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams for all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 17, followed by the ABCA NCAA Div. II Region All-Defensive teams on Thursday, June 18. ABCA/Rawlings National Pitchers and Position Players of the Year for all divisions will be announced on Monday, June 22.
The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now spans nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first introduced in 2007.
