March 30, 2026 - The MIAA baseball series between Emporia State and Newman scheduled for this weekend will be moved to the Trusler Sports Complex and Turnbull Field in Emporia due to playing conditions at Newman's McCarty Field in Wichita.
 
Per the MIAA baseball policy, Newman will remain the home team on the scoreboard for the series despite the site moving to Trusler.
 
The next action for Emporia State will be on Tuesday, March 31 for a midweek home matchup with Missouri Western.  First pitch from Turnbull Field at the Trusler Sports Complex is set for 3:00 p.m.
