Emporia State Soccer Adds Thomas Bledsoe to Coaching Staff

Bledsoe joins Hornets as assistant coach

July 22, 2024 – Head coach Jane Grimley-Gunn has announced the addition of Thomas Bledsoe to the coaching staff ahead of the 2024 season.
 
Bledsoe, originally from Benton, MO, joins the Hornets after spending the last year at Montana State University-Billings. Prior to his time with the Yellowjackets, Bledsoe was the Assistant Coach at Missouri Southern for the 2022 season.
 
Bledsoe's first coaching stop was at Southwest Baptist, his alma mater, as a graduate assistant in 2021 and as a student assistant in 2019. He played his freshman season in 2018 and played in 12 games for the Bearcats before his transition to the coaching side.
 
He received both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Athletic/Activity Administration from Southwest Baptist.
 
Emporia State soccer will begin their season on September 6 in Mankato, MN with a matchup against Minnesota State.
