December 11, 2024 – Emporia State baseball announced the signing of seven high school seniors for the 2025 recruiting class.
Evan Abbott is an outfielder from Staley HS in Kansas City, Missouri. In his junior season with the Falcons, Abbott helped lead the team to a 27-10 record before falling in the second round of the Class 6 District 8 Tournament.
Quinton Chindamo is a pitcher/outfielder from Park Hill South HS in Parkville, Missouri who also plays travel ball for Mac N Seitz out of Kansas City. Chindamo and the Panthers advanced to the Class 6 District 8 Tournament before falling against Staley HS.
Tyler Coffin is an infielder from Rockhurst HS in Kansas City, Missouri. Coffin helped lead the Hawklets to the semifinals of the Class 6 District 7 Tournament as a junior.
Casen Lett is an infielder from Park Hill South HS in Parkville, Missouri. Lett is high school teammates with fellow signee Quinton Chindamo.
Carter Morgan is a catcher from Hutchinson HS in Hutchinson, Kansas. Morgan is a dual-sport athlete at Hutchinson and hit over .330 in his junior season while helping lead the Salthawks to their most wins in a season since 2004.
Angel Olivarez is a pitcher/infielder from Buena HS in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Olivarez earned First Team All-Region honors by Arizona Preps in 2024 while also being recognized as a Perfect Game Top 500 player.
Hayes Weller is a pitcher from South Holt HS in Oregon, Missouri. Weller is a three-time First Team All-Conference selection, with two First Team All-District recognitions and a Second Team All-State nod in his junior season.
Emporia State will begin their 2025 season at the Edmond First Pitch Tournament from January 31 to February 2 and the season opener will be against MSU-Denver.
