Mackenzie Dimarco Named D2 CCA First Team All-American

Dimarco earns first team honors for second consecutive season; led nation with 23 goals

December 9, 2023 – Mackenzie Dimarco was named a First Team All-American by D2 CCA, marking the second straight season earning a First Team selection and the third season being named an All-American by D2CCA.
 
Mackenzie Dimarco finished the 2023 season with 23 goals, four assists and a career-high 50 points across 23 matches played. Her 23 goals lead the nation and her 50 points ranks third in the nation. During the season, Dimarco became the MIAA career leader in career goals and points as she finishes her career with 84 goals and 179 points.
 
In addition to her First Team selection by D2 CCA, she was named Second Team by the United Soccer Coaches for the third consecutive season. This season, Dimarco was named First Team All-MIAA and MIAA Offensive Player of the Year as well as All-Central Region and Central Region Player of the Year.
 
In her career, Dimarco 179 points, 84 goals, 433 shots, 242 shots on goal and 27 game-winning goals are all Emporia State records. Dimarco is also the NCAA Division II active career goals leader with 84 goals.
