COUNTER AND NON-COUNTER
Emporia State wraps up a three game road trip with a non-conference match at Neb.-Kearney followed by an MIAA counter at Fort Hays State. After this weekend the Hornets will have played seven of their first eight matches on the road.
THE COACHES
Bryan Sailer is 66-70-21 in his ninth year at Emporia State and is the winningest coach in program history. He has a career record of 125-93-23 that includes coaching four years at the community college level. He has led the Hornets to five straight .500 or better regular seasons, three straight MIAA Tournaments and their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance. He is 5-5-3 against Neb.-Kearney and 3-8-4 against Ft. Hays State.
Chloe Roberts is 10-26-6 in her third season at Neb.-Kearney. She is 0-3-1 against Emporia State.
Blake Reynolds is 13-8-4 in his second season at Ft. Hays State and 115-50-10 in his tenth year as a head coach. He is 0-2-1 against Emporia State.
SCOUTING THE HORNETS
Emporia State is 4-2-0 on the season and have played five of their six matches on the road. They will finish the season with six of ten matches at home where they have won ten straight matches. Seven different Hornets have scored on the season.
Mackenzie Dimarco has five goals and two assists to lead the Hornets in scoring and her three game winning goals rank second in the nation. Gabby Crrowell has two goals while

Jillian Patton is leading the MIAA and ranked eighth in the nation in saves. She has two shutouts and has a 1.50 goals against average.
SCOUTING NEB.-KEARNEY
The Lopers are 1-3-2 on the season. They have been outscored 4-1 on the year with the one goal coming from Maddie Love in a win against Western Colorado.

The Tigers are 3-2-0 headed into this weekend's action. They have shutouts in three of their last four matches. Darby Hirsch and Jordan Thompson have scored the only two goals for FHSU this year.

The Hornets return to the friendly confines of the ESU Pitch on October 4 to take on Missouri Western. Kick-off is set for 3:00 p.m. At halftime there will be a formal dedication of the improvements made to the ESU Pitch over the last year.
