ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Emporia State will travel to Bolivar, Missouri to take on Southwest Baptist on Friday October 6 and finish the weekend in Joplin, Missouri as they take on Missouri Southern on Sunday October 8.
THE COACHES
Bryan Sailer is 44-57-20 in his seventh year at Emporia State and is the winningest coach in program history. He has a career record of 103-80-22 that includes  four years at the community college level. He is 4-3-1 against Southwest Baptist and 2-2-2 against Missouri Southern.
Megan Link is in her second year as head coach for Southwest Baptist.

LAST TIME OUT
Emporia State finished in a 2-2 tie with Central Oklahoma. In the double overtime match, the Hornets trailed 1-0 at the half after a goal from Kelsie Eason from about 20 yards out in the 36th minute. Tanna Benefiel tied the match in the 55th minute on an assist from Maria Walden. The Bronchos took the lead in the 63rd minute when Kelsie Eason scored her second goal of the match from an assist by Mikayla Lowery. Olivia Miller tied the match for the Hornets again in the 74th minute on an assist from Maria Walden to help the Hornets force overtime. Both teams defenses held strong throught the overtime periods forcing the draw at 2-2. The Hornets were outshot 22-15 in the match.
