February 24, 2016-The #22 Lady Hornets ended the game on a 11-4 run over the last 1:54 on the way to a 69-63 win at Northwest Missouri in Maryville, Mo. on Wednesday night.

UP EARLY
The Lady Hornets used an 8-0 run to turn a one point deficit into a 14-7 lead with 5:26 left in the first quarter.  Emporia State would maintain the lead for the next 30:40 of action, taking their biggest lead of the night at 33-18 with 4:47 left in the first half.

IN THE FOURTH
The fourth quarter started with Emporia State leading 49-40 and they held a seven-point lead with 7:18 remaining. The Bearcats then went on an 11-1 run to take a 57-54 lead with 3:21 left. Free throws from Kelly Moten and Kathryn Flott put the Lady Hornets up 58-57 before Tember Schechinger hit a lay-up with 2:08 remaining for Northwest's final lead of the night. Sandra Ngoie would score the next four points to give the Lady Hornets a 62-59 lead with 1:09 left. Emporia State would hit seven of eight free throws in the final 36.8 seconds to ice the win.

THE NUMBERS
Kelly Moten led all scorers with 25 points and added eight rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals. She was joined in double figures by Sandra Ngoie with 18 points and eight rebounds.
