May 4, 2013-Central Oklahoma got five runs in the first inning and did not look back as a 9-2 win over Emporia State advanced the Bronchos to the next round of the MIAA Tournament.

For the Bronchos Matt Johnson was two for three with four runs driven in. Tyler Crabtree went three for four and scored three runs. On the mound Mason Justice threw a complete game striking out seven and allowing just one earned run.

For the Hornets Zack Carlson hit a solo home run and Jordan Slade scored the other ESU run.
