May 17, 2013-Over twenty senior student-athletes are set to walk across the stage at Emporia State Univeristy's Spring Commencement on Saturday at White Auditorium. They will be joined by several of their teammates that finished their eligibility earlier.
Among the group are eight student-athletes that graduated Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude or Summa Cum Laude for cumulative GPA's of at least 3.50 in their careers.
Not included in the list are several students that came to Emporia State as student-athletes but were unable to complete their eligibility due to injuries or other circumstances.
The ceremony for undergraduates begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18 in White Auditorium in downtown Emporia.
