Box Score Novermber 3, 2013 - Emporia State earned a winning regular season and the #7 seed in next week's MIAA Tournament by playing Central Oklahoma to a scoreless double overtime tie.
The Hornets were outshot 17-7 by the Bronchos, but freshman goal keeper Yadira Rivera made four saves to earn her eighth shutout of the season and the team's ninth.
Emporia State finishes with an 8-7-3 overall record and 4-4-3 in the MIAA by earning the tie. The Hornets will face the #2 seeded Norteastern State in the first round of MIAA Tournament play.
