Tayler Williams won the inaugural race on the Trusler Sports Complex cross country course with a time of 19:18.78 over the five kilometers.  She finished 35 seconds in front of runner-up Tiajhae Nez of Haskell Indian Nations University to lead the Hornets to the team title.
