September 28, 2025 – Emporia State volleyball pick their third straight sweep, and sixth in the last seven as the Hornets took down Northwest Missouri on Saturday night from White Auditorium. With the sweep of the Bearcats, Emporia State extended their winning streak to eleven matches, continuing their longest winning streak since 2009.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hornets hit just .196, but limited the Bearcats to just .016 in the attack. In addition to the attacking difference, Emporia State gained a sizable advantage at the net, posting two solo blocks and 24 block assists in the match to just six block assists for Northwest Missouri.
Nyia Anderson led the way with nine kills on .308 hitting while
Delainee Dexter,
Lavra Krizanic and
Camilla Ossola each had six of their own.
Mia Frisbie show was also extremely efficient, posting four kills on seven attacks to hit .571. Frisbie also had a team-high eight block assists and Ossola added seven of her own.
UP NEXT
Emporia State will take their now 11-match winning streak on the road next week, as they travel to take on both Newman and Pittsburg State. The Hornets will play the Jets in Wichita on Thursday, October 2 at 6:00 p.m.

Emporia State has won 11 consecutive matches, which remains the longest winning streak for Hornet volleyball since the 2009 season.
