Remsberg finishes 11th in the nation in men's heptathlon for Emporia State

Junior will earn second-team All-American honors

March 14, 2025-Jonah Remsberg had three personal bests on Friday as he finished 11th in the nation in the men's heptathlon at the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships in Indianapolis, Ind.
 
Remsberg started the day with a personal best time of 8.43 in the 60m hurdles for a sixth place finish. He then cleared a personal record of 4.55m (14-11) in the pole vault to place fourth in that discipline. He wrapped up the competition with a personal best of 2:48.79 to finish eighth in the 1000m.  He ended the competition with 5,173 points and 11th place finish overall.
 
The Hornets will now prepare for the outdoor season which will begin on Thursday, March 27 at Welch Stadium and Zola Witten Track.
