March 1, 2025-They don't call it March Madness for nothing.  The Lady Hornets were the benefactors of the new KPI system in the MIAA and have made the MIAA Tournament as the ten seed.
 
Emporia State will take on seventh seeded Central Missouri at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5 at Municipal Auditorium. The Lady Hornets and Jennies split their season series this year with each team winning on their home court.

This marks the 29th straight year the Lady Hornets have advanced to the MIAA Tournament.
