August 14, 2024-With just over two weeks before the start of football season, the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has released its MIAA Network rates for the 2024-25 academic year.
Returning MIAA Network subscribers and new MIAA fans will again have the option to purchase individual broadcasts, monthly access or year-long access beginning Monday, August 19 at TheMIAANetwork.com. Beginning at 6:00 a.m. on August 19, the Annual All-Access Pass will be on sale for $10 off the subscription rate ($130 instead of $140). The 48 hour Flash Sale for the All-Access Pass will expire at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21. The annual subscription is a savings of over $200 compared to the monthly subscription.

2024-25 MIAA NETWORK RATES:
·  Individual Broadcast Pass: $15
·  Monthly Access Pass: $30
·  All-Access Pass: $140
·  All-Access Pass Flash Sale (Aug. 19-21): $130
·  Individual Broadcast Download: $15

All-Access Pass holders can watch any game broadcasted on the MIAA Network, live or on demand.  MIAA Championship broadcasts are also included in the All-Access Pass and the Monthly Pass if the subscription is active during the month the championship takes place.

All MIAA football, women's soccer, volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball and softball conference regular season contests at MIAA sites will be streamed live on the MIAA Network.  During the 2023-24 academic year, the MIAA Network showcased 1,500+ live broadcasts for its 14 member schools with Emporia State producing 187 live streams between August 1, 2023 and May 25, 2024.

A new feature for the MIAA Network this year will be a channel designated for MIAA Premium Games and Events. This channel will feature MIAA non-conference matchups and all MIAA championship events. The feature allows MIAA institutions to have the opportunity to implement dynamic pricing for designated, non-conference matchups broadcast on the MIAA Network. Pricing for these games will be higher than the individual passes on the Network while Monthly and All-Access subscribers will be able to watch these premium games and events as part of their subscription service. This dynamic and market-driven pricing structure will be primarily directed at non-MIAA institutions and fans visiting the Network to watch just one or two contests each year. Emporia State's fall premium games will be the football game against Angelo State on September 7 and the Hornet soccer match against Drury on September 18.

The MIAA has used Hudl as its exclusive streaming partner for the past five academic years and in the fall of 2021, became the first Division II conference to have all content behind a paywall. In addition, the MIAA became Hudl's first collegiate client to surpass $2 million in gross receipts. In 2023-24, the MIAA distributed nearly $700K in Network revenue to its member athletic departments.

Content on the MIAA Network can be watched at TheMIAANetwork.com on computers and mobile devices. The MIAA Network is also available on four branded OTT apps: Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, and Amazon Fire TV.

Mobile devices including iPhone, iPad, and Android will work with the default web browser. Apple users and owners of an AppleTV device can simply 'throw' the webcast from their iPhone or iPad using the AirPlay feature. Computer users can output their display directly to an HDMI signal if supported, otherwise a converter may be required.
