THE COACHES
Bryan Sailer is 110-86-33 in his 12th season at Emporia State and is the winningest coach in program history and fifth winningest coach in MIAA history. He has a career record of 169-109-35 that includes coaching four years at the community college level. He has led the Hornets to nine straight .500 or better regular seasons, six straight MIAA Tournaments and back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.
Marc Gordon is 37-41-10 in his sixth year at NWMSU. He is 0-7 against Emporia State.
Jacob Plocher is 3-3-4 in his first season at MWSU.
SCOUTING THE HORNETS
Emporia State is 3-4-3 through the first eight matches and 2-1-0 through one game in the MIAA. The Hornets have recorded a shutout in three of their past four matches.
Mackenzie Dimarco is leading the way with four goals on the season while
Hadlie Lowe and
Hannah Woolery both have multiple goals. The Hornet defense is anchored by
Joanie Westcoat,
Abby Bachman and
Aubree Blackman. Westcoat has played all 900 minutes so far this season. In midfield along with Woolery,
Angela Palmer has started all ten matches and is fourth on the Hornets with 12 shots and recorded a goal and an assist in the last match against Rogers State.
ABOUT NORTHWEST MISSOURI
The Bearcats are 3-4-3 this season and 0-2-1 in the MIAA. As a team, Northwest Missouri has outscored their opponents 14-12 on the season and are led in attack by Kaylie Rock who has scored four goals and tallied two assists. Ximena Arnau and Adell have each scored two goals.

LAST TIME VS. THE BEARCATS
In the second round of the 2022 MIAA Tournament, Emporia State took on Northwest Missouri as the Hornets took down the Bearcats 1-0. After a scoreless first half,
Mackenzie Dimarco scored the game-winning goal in the 57th minute.
ABOUT MISSOURI WESTERN
The Griffons are 3-3-4 on the season and 1-0-2 in the MIAA. Missouri Western has outscored their opponents 14-11 with Jaden Skinner leading the way in attack. Skinner has scored seven goals this season which is the most in the MIAA so far this season.
