Fall season comes to an end for Emporia State men's tennis

October 25, 2023-Emporia State wrapped up the fall portion of the tennis schedule at the Washburn Invitational on Sunday in Topeka.
 
Anton Sarunic ended the fall with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Washburn's Tommaso Cecchetti to highlight the men's singles action for the Hornets. He then teamed up with Gwendal Mazuay to get an 8-6 win over Rockhurst's Louis Keiner and Josef Truhlar in doubles play.
 
This was the final scheduled competition for the fall. Emporia State will be putting on a free clinic for the general public on Sunday, October 29 at Emporia State's Kossover Family Tennis Complex. The clinic will run from 1-4 pm and will include some instruction, tennis drills, and fun match play where participants pair up with the ESU tennis players for doubles play.
