July 15, 2026-Both the Emporia State men's and women's tennis teams were recognized as ITA All-Academic Teams while five Hornets earned ITA Scholar Athlete status.
 
For the men Gwendal Mazuay, Dhruveer Grover, and Diego Calvo were named Scholar Athletes while Sheriden Wichman and Erin Cahill earned the honor for the women.
 
A team must have a combined grade point average of 3.20 or above with all student-athletes on the institutional eligibility form included for the current academic year to earn All-Academic Team status. Individual student-athletes with at least a 3.50 GPA for the current academic year are named ITA Scholar Athletes.
