Box Score March 2, 2022-Emporia State shot just 29.3% from the field while Central Oklahoma connected on 53.8% in an 88-53 Broncho win in the first round of the MIAA Tournament presented by Citizen's Bank & Trust.
The Bronchos hit back to back three-pointers to open the game and led 16-2 with 5:25 left in the first quarter.Â
Karsen Schultz hit two three-pointers during an 8-2 run to end the quarter as the Lady Hornets pulled to within 23-14 at the end of the first.

UCO outscored Emporia State 23-5 in the second quarter to take a 46-19 lead to the break. The Lady Hornets only hit five free throws during the period.  Emporia State trailed 74-38 after three berfore outscoring the Bronchos 15-14 in the fourth.

Tre'Zure Jobe and
Ehlaina Hartman both scored 13 points for the Lady Hornets and
Victoria Price had ten.Â

With her 13 points Tre'Zrue Jobe has scored 1,506 points and moved past Pam Boulson (1500 points from 1976-80) and Nicole Patry (1504 points from 2001-05)Â for ninth on the Lady Hornet all-time scoring list.
The Lady Hornets finished the season 15-14 for their 26
th consecutive winning season, the longest active streak in the MIAA.
