November 20, 2021-The Lady Hornets had a season high 26 turnovers that led to 41 Panther points in a 96-68 loss to #2 Drury on Saturday afternoon in White Auditorium.

Emporia State led 9-7 with 6:54 left in the first quarter when Drury went on an 11-0 run to take the lead for good. The Lady Hornets would cut the lead to 23-19 on a
Karsen Schultz three-pointer to start the second quarter but the Panthers responded with a 9-0 run and the lead never dropped below nine points the rest of the way.

The Lady Hornets closed the game on a 12-4 run, with freshmen netting ten of the points, for the final score of 96-68.

Ehlaina Hartman had 18 points to lead the Lady Hornets in scoring but
Tre'Zure Jobe was the only other player in double figures for Emporia State with 11 points on three of 15 shooting.

The Lady Hornets will be back in action on Wednesday, November 24 when they play host to Bethel. Tip-off for the Thanksgiving Eve contest is set for 5:30 p.m. and will follow the Emporia State men's game against Tabor in White Auditorium.

The loss snaps a 42 game home court winning streak against non-conference opponents that dated back to December 8, 2007.
The 28 point deficit is the largest home loss by a Lady Hornet team since a 103-63 loss to UMKC in 1986-87.
